Loewe Individual Mediacenter HDMI

Dear Loewe friends,

I have Loewe Individual Mediacenter. In sources menu I can clearly see HDMI IN as one of the source. The problem is: When I connect player through HDMI IN I get sound perfectly but ONLY when TV is connected on HDMI out and in ON mode. When I turn TV off or disconnect HDMI out cable, HDMI IN source is mute. Is there any way to listen external equipment connect on HDMI IN but without connected tv on HDMI out?
